Donald Rumsfeld Calls Kettle Black.
 Secretary Rumsfeld says that terrorists are “actively manipulating the media in this country.” “They can lie with impunity.” I wonder, is he envious?
In another report, he’s been casting aspersions at North Korea over their threat as a weapons source for terrorists. I suspect his concerns are completely valid, but how does anyone with a memory of the Iraq hype take him seriously?
Even when addressing a core issue of the DOD, troop deployments and force readiness, he tactlessly dismissed questions about a tour extension by saying “I’d love to be Santa Claus. I’m not.”
It’s time for Donald Rumsfeld to be put out to pasture.
