Pat Robertson, Model of Christian Tolerance?The only thing more unfortunate than Pat Robertson’s presence on the airwaves is the fact that people watch him. Robertson says that the recent riots over editorial cartoons… “just shows the kind of people we’re dealing with. These people are crazed fanatics, and I want to say it now: I believe it’s motivated by demonic power. It is satanic, and it’s time we recognize what we’re dealing with.” Well said, Pat. I believe you have revealed exactly what kind of people we’re dealing with. To quote old Pogo, “We have met the enemy and he is us.” Or perhaps, he is Pat.
