Separation of Church & StateSchool Prayer, School Vouchers, and Intelligent Design are all examples of attempts by the Religious Right to blur the separations of Church and State. Although I think some modest accommodation might be made for parent who chose a religious education for their children, issues of faith should not become public policy or guide governmental actions. The Americans United for Separation of Church and State have a comprehensive website on this issue. I think there are perhaps a few grey areas that they don’t acknowledge, but I think their site has gotten the issue about 99% correct.
